Geraldine Sarah King

Geraldine Sarah King of Farmington was born on April 24, 1938 in Cadet, a daughter of the late Amos and Alice (King) Mayfield. Geraldine passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, having reached the age of eighty-three years, one month and twenty-two days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include six children, Debra (Michael) Vineyard, Diana Akers, Cindy Gilmore, Willis William King Jr, Timothy (Michele) King, and Kristy King; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; siblings, Peggy Nickelson, Judy Littrell-Mathinia, Jane Owens, and Robert (Carolyn) Mayfield. Geraldine is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Alice Mayfield, beloved husband, Willis King who went to be with the Lord on Dec 6, 1995; siblings, Larry Mayfield, Lucille Thurston, Jimmy Mayfield, and Bonnie Neubauer.

A visitation was held on Saturday, June 19th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 19th at 1 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Glen Land officiating. Interment followed at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery in Caledonia.
