City of Potosi Fireworks Display To Be Held Saturday, July 3rd

The City of Potosi will hold its annual Independence Day Fireworks Display at dark (9:15 P.M.?) on Saturday, July 3rd.
Mayor Joseph Blount said, “This is a new company this year that promises for a fun and exciting show without much waiting. The show will be a non-stop 10 to 15 minute performance starting at dusk. This will be a quick show that will keep the youngsters’ attention. We hope this will be a memorable evening for our community.”
The Mayor said this is a great way to celebrate and remember the history of our country and everyone who has made America great.
Viewing will be from the ‘Downtown Potosi’ area. The City’s fireworks display will be set off along Trojan Intermediate School Drive (by the football practice field). The road is closed to the public.
Parking to watch the show is available around the Potosi R-3 High School lots and John Evans Middle School as well as street parking, Heritage Park, Long-Banta House, Hub’s and parking areas around the ‘Downtown’.
