Stephine Kay Fortner

Stephine Kay Fortner of Potosi was born on August 28, 1993 in Festus, a daughter to Tonia Dunn and Troy Fortner. Stephine departed this life on Monday, July 12, 2021 at her residence, having reached the age of 27 years, 10 months, and 14 days. 

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her son, Braylen Putney; mother Tonia Dahl (husband, Kenneth); father, Troy Fortner; sister, Tori Arens (husband, Kurtis); grandparents, Annie and Dave Fenstermaker; and fiancé, Dylan Putney. Stephine is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Stephine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve Dunn, Judy Dunn Sullivan and Terry Fortner. 

Visitation was held on Friday, July 16th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. 

A funeral service immediately followed on Friday at 2 p.m. at DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment was held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO. 63664.
