Mary Villmer

Mary Margaret Villmer of Richwoods was born July 30, 1962 in Festus, a daughter to Lena “Irene” (DeClue) Wells and the late James Francis Villmer. Mary departed this life Wednesday, July 28, 2021 having reached the age of 58 years.

Mary is survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Irene and Chester of Richwoods; sisters, Debra Sharp and husband Stuart of Manchester, Cathy Villmer of Richwoods; stepsister, Tina Louden; stepbrothers, Robert Wells and wife Patty, Matt Wells and wife Barbara; niece, LeAnne Jean (Boyer) Kniepkamp and husband Kyle; great niece and nephew Gabby and Abe; her loving dog, Caesar and many other relatives and dear and special friends.

Mary was a kind and caring person always having others in her thoughts and prayers. She was deeply devoted to St. Stephen Catholic Church and her faith never wavered, no matter the issue. She loved her church family and being alone with Jesus. She loved angels and collected many figurines and pictures. She kept those she loved close to her heart and visiting with her friends and family brought her great joy. Her loving heart and example of faith will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.

Visitation for Mary was held Friday, July 30th from 4-8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31st at 10 A.M. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Richwoods with Fr. Bob Knight officiating.

Burial and final prayers took place at St. Stephen Catholic Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Luke Arnold, Ricky Arnold, Jesse DeClue, Marty Arnold, Brent DeClue and Stuart Sharp.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
