Leta Fay Gensler

Leta Fay Gensler of Potosi was born on June 23, 1952, in Potosi, a daughter to the late Walter William and Mildred Delphia (Warden) Nettles. Leta passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, having reached the age of sixty-nine years, one month, and six days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her daughter, Delta Dawn Volner (Robert Schmitz); four grandchildren, Alisha, Tierra, Lily and Carissa; and three great-grandchildren, Phoenix Casner, Wynter Howard, and Nicholi.

Leta was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred Nettles; daughter, Connie Conway; siblings, infant Linda Nettles, Joyce Glore, Ray Nettles, Beverly; and nephew, Robby.

A visitation was held on Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.

A funeral service followed the visitation at 4 P.M. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, officiated by Sister Virginia Nettles.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
