Kingston K-14 Starts Monday, August 23rd
Kingston K-14 School District will start the new school year Monday, August 23rd. Before the start of classes, the district is inviting parents and students to attend a K-12 districtwide OPEN HOUSE, on Thursday, August 19th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch will be FREE for every student, in all grades (PreK-12) during the 2021-2022 school year. (Kingston is approved for the USDA “Fuel 4 School” Community Eligibility Program.) “Late Start Tuesdays” are a thing of the past. School will start at the same time every weekday in session, beginning at 7:45 a.m.
Enrollment appointments (K-12) are available now during regular business hours. Phone 573.438.4982, and follow the prompts for the appropriate school office. Please call ahead. Parents and guardians will need a parental photo identification, a child’s immunization records, birth certificate, social security number, and some type of proof of residency for enrollment. Parents and guardians will be also be asked to fill out forms requesting records from a previous school if applicable.

Official sports practices for junior high student-athletes began on Monday, August 9th. High school athletes started MSHSAA sanctioned practices on Monday, but junior high students will begin practicing during the first week of school. Kingston High School and Junior high (Grades 7-8) student-athletes must have a current physical on file to be eligible to practice.
New teachers will report for orientation tomorrow, (Friday, August 13th). Staff development days are Monday, August 16-August 19th. The first district wide off-day for Kingston K-14 will be Labor Day on Monday, September 6th.
