Joeanne Marler

Joeanne Marler of Mineral Point was born on December 2, 1950 in St. Louis, a daughter of the late Orville Silvey and Ann (Janac) Silvey. Joeanne went to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 15, 2021 having reached the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 13 days.
On February 16, 1968, Joeanne was united in marriage to Thomas R. Marler and they shared 53 years of love and memories together.
Those who remain to cherish her memory and celebrate her life include her husband, Thomas Marler; daughter, Dawn DeClue (husband, Eric); two grandsons, Dillian DeClue (wife, Alyssa) and Wayland DeClue (wife, Ashli); five great grandchildren, Thatcher, Mirren, Jamey, Rosalie and Archer; sister, Rosemary Skaggs (husband, Don); In-laws, Judy Warden, Carol Emily, Ron Marler (wife, Ronda), Edith Marler, and Marvin Mercer (wife, Elaine). Joeanne also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
In addition to her father and mother, Joeanne was preceded in death by her brother, Orville Frank Silvey; In-laws, Jerry Warden, Ben Emily, Robert Marler, Dorothy Mercer, and Lynn and Louise Marler.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 31st from 9 to 11 a.m. at DeClue Funeral Home.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 31st at 11 a.m. held at DeClue Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Jones assisted by Pastor Ronnie Rothlisberger. Interment followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care of DeClue Funeral Home.
