David Walter O’Neail, Sr.

David Walter O’Neail, Sr of Park Hills was born on February 7, 1937, in DeSoto, a son of the late Ernest Wilson O’Neail and the late Clara Emaline Hayes. David passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021, having reached the age of eighty-four years, six months, and nine days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 2 years, Teresa O’Neail; children, Randy O'Neail, Charlene (Jerry) Case, and David (Paula) O'Neail Jr.; grandchildren, Travis Case, Kelley Case, Kristen Holtz, Kandis (John) Heintz, and Kimberly Adair; great grandchildren, Mason Holtz, Shyann Holtz, Colton Heintz, Levi Heintz, Savannah Heintz, Ocean Holtz; siblings: Daniel O'Neail, and Lloyd (Candy) O'Neail; and mother of his children, Barbara O'Neail; He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Clara O’Neail; siblings, Marie Owens, Gladys Douglas, Francis Carey, Ralph O'Neail, Ernest "Bud" O'Neail, Bob O'Neail, and Leroy O'Neail.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation continued on Saturday, August 21st from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 21st at 11 a.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jay O’Neail officiating. Interment followed at Horine Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
