Barbara Jo Null

Barbara Jo Null, of Cadet was born on February 26, 1950 in Mineral Point, a daughter of the late Sterling Skiles Jr. and Mary Marie (Lawson) Skiles. Barb departed this life on Thursday, August 26, 2021 having reached the age of 71 years and 6 months.

On September 23, 2000, Barb was united in marriage to Milton E. "Mel" Null and they shared nearly 21 years together.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband Mel Null; two step daughters, Melonie Chiverton, Carlyn Null; two step grandchildren, Dale and Kirstyn; sister, Shelba Jean Benson (husband, Lonnie); sister-in-law, Carolyn Skiles; five fur babies, Sadie Rose, Tara, Chewy, Daisy, Little Man; and best friend, Patty Henry.

In addition to her father and mother, Barb was preceded in death by four siblings, Carolyn Politte, Dennis Skiles, Arthur Skiles, and James Skiles.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 1st from 4:30 to 8 P.M. and Thursday, September 2nd from 9 to 11 A.M. at DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 2nd at 11 A.M.  at the DeClue Chapel. Rev. Bud Lawson officiated the service. Interment followed at New Diggins Cemetery.
