Edward Joe DeClue

Edward Joe DeClue also known by family and friends as Eddie Joe, was born on May 8, 1953 in St. Louis, a son of the late Lennie and Ethel (Cain) DeClue. Eddie Joe departed this life on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Mercy Hospital South, having reached the age of 67 years, 7 months and 20 days.

Eddie Joe is survived by his three children: Eddie “Bones” DeClue, Melissa DeClue and friend Jason Blair, NickCole Pashea and husband Joey; five grandchildren, Paige Kratky, Robert Kratky, Dylan Cook, Jobi Pashea, LeeAnna Pashea; five great-grandchildren, Brantley Crocker, Braylyn Kratky, Aiden Courtway, Paisliegh Cook, and Nova Jaco; seven siblings, Karen Drennen, Tina Williams and husband Randy, Mickey DeClue and wife Paula, Richard DeClue, Timothy DeClue, Kelly Isgriggs and husband Rex, and Rhonda Gonzalez. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Eddie Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Olivia “Levey” DeClue; maternal grandparents, James and Evelyn Cain; and parents, Lennie and Ethel DeClue.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 30th from 5 to 9 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi. Visitation resumed on Thursday, December 31st from 9 to 11 A.M.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 31st at 11 A.M. held at the DeClue Chapel. Interment followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
